  • This intensive half day workshop with Caroline Kirrane expands on the CPD lectures delivered by Caroline in April and November 2019 to facilitate participants gaining further in-depth knowledge in the three areas of:

    FINANCIAL STATEMENTS – Reading, interpreting and analysing financial statements: fundamentals of accrual accounting, financial analysis tools – common size statements and financial ratios.

    CORPORATE FINANCE – Understanding the fundamentals of corporate finance: funding tools – debt and equity), time value of money and project appraisal tools: payback period, Net Present Value (NPV) analysis and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

    COSTING – Cost analysis – understanding cost behaviour, calculating break-even point, contribution analysis and maximising operating profit using costing tools.

    Caroline Kirrane has over a decade of experience working in financial markets. She has an undergraduate degree in European Business and French from Dublin City University. She also holds a first class Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Trinity College Dublin and is a CFA Charter-holder.
