    Speakers:

    Ross Griffen
    Ross is originally from Limerick but has spent most of the last 10 years living with his wife in Copenhagen Denmark. Ross has been working in the construction industry for nearly 20 years for both contractors and consultants. He has a BSc & MBA in Construction Management from the College of Estate Management in Reading University and is a MRICS & MCIOB. Ross’s passion is progress and change for the greater good, both professionally and personally, changing the way we delivery projects through technology so that the industry becomes more efficient and reduces waste. Ross works with his company in Denmark progressing the Nordic understanding of the Quantity Surveying profession in collaboration with the RICS Nordic and other dedicated professionals.

    Dr. Dermot Kehily
    Dermot is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has over 25 years experience in the Construction Industry, in both the United States and Ireland in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and in Project Controls. In 2007 he joined the School of Surveying and Construction Management in Technological University (TU) Dublin and is currently delivering modules on Quantity Surveying and Construction Management Programmes. Dermot has experience and has carried out extensive research in the areas of Digitisation in construction, Sustainability and Life Cycle Costing (LCC). Dermot completed a PhD in ‘Leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM) for LCC’ in 2016, and collaborates with numerous BIM technology vendors, educating students and practitioners in digitisation and BIM as well as providing consultancy services in the same.

    Elia has focused her professional career on commercial management both as a consultant and contractor from Denmark, Spain and abroad. She has spent many years working in an engineering company as a Building Engineer, allowing her to acquire great technical experience, as well as a good understanding of the public sector after working on the Urban Planning Permission department for the City Council of Madrid.
