  • Join us on the 16th January for a part 2 CPD on Japanese Knotweed. Following on from the first CPD, this talk will go into further depth about the reporting and management of Japanese Knotweed and its close relations, Giant Knotweed and Bohemian Knotweed. Your learning outcomes will include confidence in 1) How to quickly and accurately identify Japanese Knotweed and its relations even when it is difficult, such as deliberate concealment, and 2) Make an accurate risk assessment, including how to determine the source of Japanese Knotweed even when it has dispersed over one or more property boundaries.

We will work through case studies and prepare an outline plan for each example using a template that you can take home. Dealing with Japanese Knotweed does not need to be a stressful experience again. Then, you will learn how to quickly access valuable online resources about invasive species, including how to check invasive species records in the geographical areas you work in.
