PwC will provide an overview of the Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT) introduced by Finance Act 2021, including an overview of the charge to the tax, the key exemptions which can apply, our practical experience to date including the key issues / challenges within the existing legislation and what amendments to the regime may be included in the forthcoming Finance Bill 2022.

Sinead Lew, Director, Real Estate Tax
Sinead is a Director within the PwC Real Estate deals tax team and has over 13 years experience providing tax advice to a variety of market sectors including Irish plcs, private equity, large corporates, semi-state bodies and within the real estate sector. Sinead’s main areas of expertise include corporate tax consultancy, international tax and international structuring, debt restructuring and refinancing, due diligence, and real estate and capital transactions.
Aaron Mullan, Tax Senior Manager, Real Estate Tax
Aaron is a Tax Senior Manager within the PwC Real Estate deals tax team and has over 9 years experience advising clients on efficient structuring of transactions including acquisitions, due diligence, ongoing taxation, refinancings, and disposals.
Clodagh Casey, Tax Senior Associate, Real Estate Tax
Clodagh is a Tax Senior Associate in the Firm’s Domestic Inbound Outbound department and is also a member of PwC’s specialist Real Estate tax team. Clodagh has wide experience of tax due diligence, preparation of tax structuring reports and the provision of input into financial models. Clodagh has worked in PwC for four years.
