Mike Arnold and Damien Renaut from Norman, Disney and Young (NDY) will present a roadmap for developing smarter, more sustainable buildings with the end user front of mind at all times. NDY have been developing Smart Building solutions for over 10 years and their Clients include some of the worlds largest technology companies and real estate developers. NDY is part of the Tetra Tech group with over 21,000 employees globally.
Speaker Bios:
Damien Renaut is the Smart Buildings Team Leader for NDY in the EMEA region and works with his team to support our clients in designing best in class Smart Building solutions. Damien has 15 years’ experience in the Smart Buildings field ranging from small to large projects and from commercial offices to airports. With experience in Building Management, Lighting Control, Air Quality and Metering Systems, and a passion for Cloud Computing, Internet of Things and innovation in general, Damien thrives in designing client solutions, ranging from BMS to Smart Buildings and Cloud Analytics, with a focus on improving Sustainability, Operational Effectiveness, Occupier Wellbeing and User Experience. Damien holds as Master’s degree in Building Automation, Electrical and Computer Science.
Mike Arnold is Managing Director for NDY in Ireland. Mike has been involved in the buildings industry for almost 20 years and has delivered projects across Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Australia. He is currently Project Director for a number of Smart Buildings in Dublin and London and has oversight of all Smart Building operations in the EMEA region. Mike is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA from London Business School.
