  • To accompany the launch of the SCSI’s Annual National Residential Property Report, the panel will review the residential property market in 2021 and consider the outlook for 2022 including any potential impacts on the market. Thomas Conefrey will join the panel to present Central Bank’s latest economic projections and outlook.

    Thomas Conefrey, Head of Function, Irish Economic Analysis Division, Central Bank of Ireland

    Thomas Conefrey is Head of Function in the Irish Economic Analysis (IEA) Division at the Central Bank of Ireland. IEA carries out analysis and forecasting of developments in the Irish economy for publication in outputs such as the Bank’s Quarterly Bulletin. Thomas was Chief Economist of the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council (IFAC) from 2014-16 and previously worked in the ESRI.

    Anne Carroll, MSCSI MRICS

    Anne Carroll is a chartered surveyor with 22 years’ experience in the property industry with the last 10 in the Banking sector.

    Anne currently works for Bank of Ireland where she assists their Premier and Private customers on the residential buying side.

    Anne is also the current Chair of our Residential Professional Group

    Jonathan Quinn, MSCSI MRICS

    Jonathan has been with Quinn Bros. since 1997 having joined us from Dublin agents Savills. Jonathan studied property economics in D.I.T. Bolton Street and currently handles Commercial Property Sales, New Homes Sales & Valuations. In addition to serving on various committee’s within the SCSI, Jonathan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a Registered Valuer under their Red Book VRS scheme, which is recognised worldwide.

    Ed Carey FSCSI, FRICS

    Ed Carey is an industry expert with over 25 year’s experience in all aspects of property. He is a former president of IAVI has several other volunteer roles in SCSI, including the current delegate to CEPI – the European Association of Real Estate Professions. He is an estate agent based in Co Meath & also carries out nationwide bespoke acquisitions for international clients.

    Majella Galvin, MSCSI MRICS

    Majella is a Chartered Estate Agent and RICS Registered Valuer with DNG Galvin. She has been working in the property sector for over a decade and has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience of the property market throughout the years. Majella holds a BSc in Real Estate & Valuations from the University College of Estate Management, Reading. She is Vice Chairperson of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (Southern region), a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveys and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.
