    Speakers:

    Jimmy Preston is the Managing Director of Scott Group, an international specialist supplier of IoT technology such as the Redwood/Smartengine, CIBSE awarding winning Technology and Enlighted Wireless System technology amongst other products. Scott Group have a wealth of experience for delivering Smart buildings for such clients in Ireland as Zurich Insurance HQ, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson HQ. Abbott Laboratories Longford & Clonmel, GE Healthcare Cork, Saleforce and many others. We have also delivered IoT smart lighting projects for clients outside of Ireland including Accenture Germany, Abbott Chicago, Microsoft Nairobi, Facebook UK and other clients.

    Paul O’Connor has 20+ years of experience in the property sector working in property development and energy management. Paul is passionate about smarter sustainable buildings helping to educate on best practice in achieving smarter buildings. He has been involved in many smart building’s projects across Ireland and the UK. Paul is a WiredScore/SmartScore AP

    Geraldine Hamill has worked in the energy industry for 30 years with extensive auditing & design expertise in the technologies of LED and lighting controls. She has presented at SEAI roadshows /workshops and was a recipient of an Energy Show award in 2014. In 2020, she embarked on Sustainable Energy Systems course level 9 at DCU which informed her of the role that PoE & wireless networked lighting and sensors can bring on the journey to whole building fine tuning of energy and space management. Close scrutiny of Renovation wave strategy, requirements of the revised Energy Performance Building directive for energy monitoring, reporting and maintenance alerts, with visibility on energy required for self generation to exporting to smart grid, are all deliverable when a digital backbone is installed.
