The SCSI in partnership with the IGBC are pleased to offer a short series of online training workshops to help you understand how to quantify the carbon emissions associated with your building designs.
With many building certification schemes requiring carbon and life cycle analysis and increasing requirements for carbon analysis in planning decisions in Europe and around the world, it is important to keep abreast of this changing aspect of our built environment.
This online workshop will be delivered online between 3pm-5pm on each of the following 3 dates in July 2021:
- Session 1: July 5th
- Session 2: July 7th
- Session 3: July 14th.
Topics covered include:
- What is whole life carbon assessment?
- Why is it important?
- When should it be done?
- How is it carried out?
- Tools used in this emerging field
- Discussion of real-world examples
- Understanding results.
To support small group learning and engagement, places are limited to 15 only. Attendance at all 3 sessions is required to complete the training.
