Job Description

Job Title:      Construction Project Manager

Department:  Property & Development IRE/NI

Reports to:    Director of Property & Development

Location:     Hybrid – HQ BoyleSports.

Role Purpose

As our new Construction Project Manager, you will be the single point of contact for all construction/capital investment works, for all key stakeholders. You will be responsible for the management of all construction projects for BoyleSports, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and successfully complete the construction phase of all capital investment projects which include shop extensions, relocations, and acquisitions.
  • Carrying out building surveys for pre-acquisition reports, defect analysis reports and recommendations.
  • Preparation and submission of statutory applications relating to planning, fire safety, disabled access and building compliance.
  • Monitoring day-to-day activities in the field, managing the flow of information, and reporting and tracking issues arising from progress, quality, and safety.
  • Project management, including design and cost consultancy.

Travel Requirement: Travel is required with this role, throughout the island of Ireland at all locations that BoyleSports operate, as and when required.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Have a 3rd level qualification or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
  • Qualified to RICS/MCIAT/MCIOB level is a desirable, but not essential subject to experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT platforms.
  • Be flexible and solution focused.
