The Negotiating Skills workshop with Sonya Meekel is a half-day online workshop that aims to enhance your negotiating knowledge and skills. The workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to enter into a negotiation situation with enhanced confidence and understanding.

- Negotiation Styles – what is your style?
- Options to handle intimidation and aggression,
- Managing situations,
- Key phrases / probing questions / tactics that can help,
- How would you deal with a deadlock,
- The power of Communication,
- The value of recognising body language (signs of strength & weakness).
Speaker:
Sonya Meekel is an industry expert with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. She is currently a lecturer in TU Dublin and has extensive knowledge and expertise in people management, soft skill development, and health and safety.
CPD Hours:
SCSI member participants who complete the full workshop will have 3.5 CPD hours uploaded to their member record within 10 days of attending the workshop.
