In today’s business environment, being able to make an effective presentation has become an essential skill. Some might say, that if you are comfortable and good in this art, it might even be considered in business as an “unfair competitive advantage”.

This full- day interactive training workshop will equip attendees with the skills and mindset needed to achieve a new level of confidence, ability, and excellence as presenters.

Presenting is a process of communicating with an audience to convey a message. This communication can take on a variety of forms. It may occur at a school or at a university/college. Perhaps you will be delivering a speech at a wedding or a special event. Typically, however, presentations are associated with the workplace.

In most cases, people are apprehensive at the mere thought of speaking in front of a crowd, regardless of the reasons for doing so. It is nevertheless essential that we acquire this communication skill. Our ability to communicate effectively helps us lead people, earn a promotion, or simply convey information to others. However, how can this ability be developed? Please read on to discover how to deliver an effective presentation.

Sonya Meekel MBA, MSc, M.A, P.G Dip.Proj Man, P.G Dip Ed, BSc Eng  C.Eng, M.I.E.I.,

Sonya has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, and is currently a lecturer in TU Dublin.  She has previously worked as a Design Build Consultant Engineer, and a Project Manager. Sonya graduated from DIT with an honours degree in Structural Engineering, and has since continued her studies extensively, having recently completed a MBA with TU Dublin.
