  • All Chartered Surveyors and Associate members of SCSI carrying out  valuations must be members of the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme and comply with the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book).  The current edition of Red Book became effective on 31 January 2025. To assist RICS Registered Valuer members in ensuring that their valuation processes and documentation are compliant SCSI, in collaboration with the RICS Profession Support and Assurance team, is running a series of FREE online Red Book Compliance workshops for Irish members, commencing on 2nd July 2026.

    This workshop aims to support RICS Registered Valuers in creating an audit trail meeting the requirements of the and the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book) and RICS Rules of Conduct

    The workshop will cover:

    The requirements of Red Book effective 31 January 2025
    Examining why it is important that an audit trail is created
    Explaining how the audit trail is created
    Discussions and interactions on your risk mitigation as a Valuer
    Signposting of where to get further support

     This workshop is free to members and attendees can avail of 3.5 hours of CPD.

    The workshop will be presented by Paddy Darmody FSCSI FRICS and Annamaria Gallivan FSCSI FRICS.
