Complete your CPD Log

The statutory CPD system adopted by your registration body under the Building Control Act 2007 requires registered Quantity Surveyors and registered Building Surveyors to undertake the following:  

  • A minimum of 20 hours of total CPD recorded on the CPD portal

  • A minimum of 10 hours must be formal (structured CPD)  

  • A minimum of 1 hour of CPD relating to ethics 

  • A minimum of 1 hour of CPD relating to sustainability  

  • Your CPD must be relevant to your practice as a Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor 

  • Co-operate with the SCSI if you are subject to audit
