Job Responsibilities

  1. Taking charge of both planned and reactive works in multi-let buildings and external areas.
  2. Implementation of robust security and emergency preparedness procedures.
  3. Managing general procurement tasks, including accounts budgeting.
  4. Supervising the work quality of employees and a team of maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
  5. Conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections.
  6. Effectively communicating workplace health and safety, including best practices and compliance, to employees.

Job Requirements

  • The ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Problem-solving
  • Strong and up-to-date IT skills
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
  • Technical engineering skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • A diploma or equivalent qualification in facilities management, ideally with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable position, would be beneficial; however, due consideration will be given to experience.
  • This is a full-time onsite position, and all applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland.
