Job Responsibilities
- Taking charge of both planned and reactive works in multi-let buildings and external areas.
- Implementation of robust security and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Managing general procurement tasks, including accounts budgeting.
- Supervising the work quality of employees and a team of maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections.
- Effectively communicating workplace health and safety, including best practices and compliance, to employees.
Job Requirements
- Customer service orientation
- The ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Problem-solving
- Strong and up-to-date IT skills
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Technical engineering skills
- Excellent communication and people skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A diploma or equivalent qualification in facilities management, ideally with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable position, would be beneficial; however, due consideration will be given to experience.
- This is a full-time onsite position, and all applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland.
