John J Casey & Co Chartered Quantity Surveyors & Construction Cost Consultants invites applications, from suitably qualified Intermediate and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their Tralee office team.

We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals who demonstrate strong organisational/managerial skills, good reporting, communication skills and willing to work as part of a team, or individually, as required by the various projects.

Education, Experience, Etc.:

• Hold a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying that is prescribed under the Building Control Act 2007, or a qualification in Quantity Surveying that is equivalent to a qualification so prescribed in Section 29 of the Building Control Act 2007
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Chartership preferable but not mandatory (working towards chartership is acceptable)
• Possess a high standard of administrative experience. Duties:
• Pre-contract cost control and advise to Clients and Design Teams.
• Preparing Budget Estimate and Bills of Quantities
• Compiling Contract Documentation
• All post contract functions including; measurement and agreement of variations, preparation of interim payment recommendations, cost reporting, attendance at client/contractor site meetings, final account preparation and reconciliations on a diverse range of projects both in the public and private sector.
• The successful candidate will have relevant sector and industry experience. You will be able to lead and manage a team, work closely with senior members of staff and key stakeholders throughout the company as well as develop and build new client relationships.
