    Join us for this CPD to mark the launch of the 2nd Edition SCSI Guide to Life Cycle Costing. This information paper was produced to educate members on the attributes of Life Cycle Costings and provides professionals with practical knowledge which will aid them in producing LCC models.

    During the CPD we will discuss the meaning and applicability of LCC, the benefits to utilising a LCC approach and the challenges in the approach.

    Speaker – Dermot Kehily MSCSI MRICS

    Dermot has over 25 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, in both the United States and Ireland as a Quantity Surveyor, Construction Manager and in Project Controls, and as an academic in the School of Surveying and Construction Management in Technological University (TU) Dublin.

    In 2007 he joined TU Dublin and is currently delivering modules on Quantity Surveying and Construction Management Programmes. Dermot has experience and has carried out extensive research in the areas of Digitisation in construction and Life Cycle Costing (LCC). Dermot completed a PhD in ‘Leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM) for LCC’ in 2016 and collaborates with numerous BIM technology vendors, educating students and practitioners in digitisation and BIM.
