This professional statement sets out best practice in the management and administration of service charges in commercial property and provides mandatory obligations that SCSI members and regulated firms engaged in this area must comply with. This professional statement is effective for all service charge periods commencing from 1 April 2020 and supersedes the SCSI code of practice ‘Service charges in commercial property, 3rd edition’.
