The Assistant Building Surveyor will be part of the multi-disciplinary Building Control team working across Dublin’s exciting construction industry supporting and encouraging compliance with building standards.

Other duties may also arise to deliver a professional, comprehensive and consistent Building Control service in accordance with statutory obligations, national frameworks and the priorities of the Building Control Authority of Dublin City Council.

– be registered or eligible to be registered as a Building Surveyor under the provisions of the Building Control Act 2007.

– hold a professional qualification in Building Surveying that is prescribed under the Building Control Act 2007, or a qualification in Building Surveying that is equivalent to a qualification so prescribed in Section 43 of the Building Control Act 2007.

– have at least 2 years satisfactory experience of building surveying work.

– possess a high standard of technical training and experience.
