Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
As a Building Surveyor with us, you will:
- Deliver technical due diligence surveys for commercial and residential properties
- Conduct detailed residential building surveys and prepare clear, client-facing reports
- Act as Assigned Certifier under the Building Control Regulations
- Manage Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates
- Coordinate planning applications and liaise with local authorities
- Produce specifications, oversee project timelines, and ensure quality control on site
All surveyors are encouraged to pursue chartership recognition. You’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship as you complete your APC pathway toward becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor.
Job Requirements (including qualification & experience)
Essential Criteria
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BSc in Building Surveying (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong technical knowledge of building structures, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full, clean driving licence
