Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver a broad spectrum of commercial building surveying services, from contract administration and technical due diligence to dilapidations, building pathology, and general commercial property advice. You’ll manage projects from start to finish, producing accurate, high-quality reports and ensuring clients receive expert guidance. You will also play a key role in nurturing client relationships, contributing to business development, and providing practical, commercially focused solutions across a diverse portfolio of properties. Collaboration with colleagues is important, but you will also be expected to take ownership of your projects and work independently when required.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Building Surveying and MRICS/MSCSI qualification, with proven experience in a proactive commercial environment. You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of buildings and commercial contracts, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Commercial awareness and the ability to generate new business opportunities are essential, as is a collaborative approach to work. A full driving licence and access to a car are required, and confidence using technology in a modern working environment is expected.
