Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct Red Book-compliant and portfolio valuations for secured lending and financial reporting purposes.
  • Prepare or contribute to valuations in accordance with internal procedures and relevant professional standards, under appropriate supervision.
  • Deliver high-quality valuation reports covering a broad geographic area.
  • Engage in negotiations with stakeholders on major infrastructure and urban regeneration projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret market data, transactions, statistics, and supporting evidence in line with established best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards while contributing to team performance targets.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders, reports, and responses to correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) instructions from initial inspection through to final settlement.
  • Carry out countrywide inspections as required.
  • Perform additional duties as required, in line with the evolving needs of the role.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor (SCSI and/or RICS) in a professional services or valuation environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality valuation outputs in line with relevant legislation, case law, and professional standards.
  • Strong understanding of rating and valuation principles, including the application of precedents, practice notes, and determinations from the Valuation Tribunal and Higher Courts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) legislation and processes.
  • Skilled in report writing, data analysis, and managing multiple assignments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Effective team player with experience working within structured project environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proactive and self-motivated.
  • Holder of a PSRA license (or eligible to obtain one).
  • Full clean driving license with access to a vehicle
