Development Land Surveyor
Job Description

• Preparing marketing material and managing media coverage on the project
• Attendance at properties and conducting viewings as necessary
• Researching market data such as land and property records
• Advising third parties such as banks and funding institutions as to risks and commercial viability of a project
• Selling and purchasing of various lands and properties
• Negotiating contracts and legal tenders
• Drawing up, presenting and negotiating competitive proposals
• Advising clients on the likelihood of planning permission being granted
• Investigating the feasibility of the project based on valuations
• Communicating and negotiating effectively with colleagues, clients and bank managers
• Presenting your recommendations to Clients
• Responding quickly to changes in market conditions and client requirements and the impact of government policies[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Job Requirements
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The ideal candidate will be:
• Hold approximately 2-3 years’ experience in a surveyor/chartered surveyor role
• Qualified chartered surveyor holding valuations to Level 3 in their APC
• Must have a strong Interest in development appraisals
• Experience using Argus Developer is an advantage
• Member of the SCSI and/or RICS
• Currently holding a PSRA licence or eligible to obtain a PSRA licence
• Possess the ability to build relationships and develop new business (essential)
