Role Summary

Oaklee is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Development Manager to join the Development & New Business Team.  It is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing team as we explore new opportunities to deliver social and cost rental homes.

Job Title: Development Manager

Reports to: Director of Development & New Business

Place of Work: Dublin City Centre/Hybrid

Duration: Full Time (37 hours per week) Permanent contract subject to 6 months’ probation period

Salary: tbc


  • Helping drive delivery of the Oaklee Development Programme, through identifying and securing new opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Property Services, Housing Services and Finance to ensure timely delivery of housing.
  • Preparation and delivery of appraisals and papers for internal approval.
  • Engage with developers, solicitors, valuers and other professionals.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting delivery pipeline.
  • Work with your colleagues in the New Business team to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Actively manage your personal development plan in consultation with your manager.

Key skills and Competencies

Candidates will –

  • Hold a third level qualification in Real Estate, Property Management or similar discipline.
  • Have 3-4 years experience within the property sector.
  • Solid work ethic, inquisitive and eager to learn.
  • Confident with a positive outlook.
  • Adaptable, flexible and numerate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong working knowledge of full suite of Microsoft apps.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solving strength.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
