The Development Officer will work as a key member of the Commercial Development team by assisting the New Business Managers and Delivery team in delivering Clúid’s housing development programme. You will provide support to the wider team by taking responsibility for the management of the delivery of identified projects within the existing programme. As a result, you will be responsible for a range of delivery processes such as project administration, funding applications, internal and external approvals and liaising with Property Services for all projects. The role requires significant travel as you will provide support for development activity primarily based in, but not limited to the south and west of the country. You will visit schemes during construction, close to completion and again on the closing date as well at other times as needed. You will participate in all necessary Commercial Development team meetings and activities. We envisage that this role will operate from our Cork or Galway Office however travel to the National Office in Dublin or other regional offices will be required on occasion.

Education / Qualifications

Minimum of Degree required in related area – Essential Project Management training/qualification – Desirable Experience in working as part of a multi skilled team – Essential

Knowledge / Skills

Specialist role related knowledge in property acquisition or property development processes – Essential Communication skills –verbal and written, report writing, presentation skills – Essential Stakeholder management skills and experience – Essential I.T skills to intermediate level – Essential MS project experience – Desirable Project feasibility assessment – Essential Problem solving – Essential

Experience

Property Acquisition/Property development experience – Essential

2+ Years’ experience in a similar role – Essential
