SALARY: £88,268 – £97,070 plus an employer pension contribution of 34.2%

Job Requirements (including qualification & experience)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must, by the closing date for applications have:
1.Full current professional membership (MRICS or FRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in one of the following pathways or their pre-cursors: Valuation, Commercial Property, Residential Property Practice, Residential Survey and Valuation, Rural, Property Finance and Investment, or Taxation Allowances.
AND
2. At least 10 years’ experience gained since attaining full professional membership of carrying out complex valuations for a variety of purposes, and of providing comprehensive and authoritative advice, all drawing on a strong technical knowledge of rating and taxation of property, valuation practice and law.
AND
3.At least 4 years’ experience as a senior manager* with a strong focus on successfully leading and developing high-performing teams to deliver challenging business objectives within a property focused organisation.
AND
4.At least 4 years’ experience as a senior manager* with a strong focus on formulating and implementing business strategy to successfully deliver key policy objectives.
* ‘Senior manager’ level includes providing detailed advice on or taking decisions personally or being party to decisions affecting strategic issues concerning the corporate body or organisation with which an individual is working either as an employee or advisor.
Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered by the selection panel to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated. The onus is on the candidate to demonstrate how their qualification is equivalent to the one requested.
