The Executive Building Surveyor works as part of a team within the Building Control section of the Planning & Property Development Department in Dublin City Council.

Reporting to a Senior Executive Building Surveyor, the Executive Building Surveyor shall primarily be involved in the inspection of active construction sites to determine compliance or otherwise with the requirements of the Building Regulations.

Whilst expert knowledge in all parts of the Building Regulations is required, a particular emphasis is placed on compliance with Part B (Fire Safety) of the Building Regulations.
