Executive Valuer
Job Responsibilities
The Executive Valuer will work as part of a team within the City Valuers Office reporting to a Senior Valuer and may manage Assistant and Graduate Valuers. The City Valuers Office, is part of the Planning, Property and Economic Development Department, and provides a comprehensive property valuation and advisory service to all DCC Departments. The office plays a key role in urban regeneration projects, housing provision and is very active in the area of acquisitions (both statutory and non-statutory) and disposals and in the development of community, sporting and cultural facilities. The Executive Valuer will work on a large volume of cases comprising of commercial and residential property valuations on both a statutory and non-statutory basis, and will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of various local authority objectives and responsibilities. They will be exposed to a unique variety of property related instructions including Acquisitions, Disposals, Landlord and Tenant cases, CPO’s etc. with a scope to develop their skills, experience and continued professional development.
