This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with project management, property management and financial management skills to join a new team in a senior position for the Headfort Trust.

You will lead the management of the international cultural asset of Headfort House and grounds, including developing and implementing a long-term capital plan for a significant upgrade and restoration programme and grant applications for that programme.

You will also be the fulcrum around which the Headfort Trust’s operations function including finance, and health and safety. You would report directly to the Headteacher and be asked to report to the board of trustees on occasion. You would be responsible for managing a team of staff in these functions including maintenance and support staff, as well as building contractors.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Job Requirements

  • A property or finance related qualification (e.g. Assoc or MRICS/SCS Ireland or an accounting or finance qualification with experience of a heritage property background)
  • An ability to think freely and provide ideas to new problems
  • An ability to manage staff, contractors and donors
  • A capability of generating your own workload
  • Interpersonal and service skills of the highest order
  • Strong organisational capability and first-rate attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT literacy in Google Docs etc, MS Office and Sage
  • The ability to work quickly & efficiently to meet deadlines
  • A friendly & personable nature & be a keen team player
  • A full and clean driving licence
