Kennedy & Associates Chartered Surveyors is one of Irelands leading firms of Chartered Building Surveyors and Chartered Valuation Surveyors specialising in pre-purchase inspection and reporting with the aim of comprehensively advising our Clients to ensure they have full peace of mind when acquiring residential and commercial property.

We offer a diverse range of Surveying services to private and commercial Clients throughout Ireland and employ highly skilled professionals who encompass the high standards of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

To join and augment our expanding team, we are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor* to complete a variety of residential and commercial inspections and Reports including pre-purchase Building Surveys, new build Snagging, Defect analysis, Compliance Certification, Schedules of Condition/Dilapidation etc.

The successful candidate will be a recently qualified graduate holding an appropriate degree capable of allowing access to the chartered membership route of the SCSI/RICS and/or entry onto the Statutory Register of Building Surveyors.

Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided; however, any relevant experience or work placement will be considered.

Candidates should:

• Be willing to work toward chartered and registered status, under guidance.
• Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly on the job.
• Be willing to work as a member of our team undertaking all necessary tasks assigned by Management.
• Have good organisation and time management skills.
• Hold a full driving license and have access to their own transport.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate based on experience and suitability to the role.

* The professional title Building Surveyor is protected under the Building Control Act 2007. Only those persons who are registered can use the title in connection with their professional work or role. The Act prohibits the use of the titles, either alone or in combination with any other words or letters, or name, title or description, implying that the person is so registered. The Applicant must be either registered or eligible to be registered and must be willing to take the necessary steps toward registration.
