[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) was founded in 1973 and is the national organisation representing, promoting, and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since their foundation they have provided over 5,700 homes through homeownership, shared ownership, and social rented co-operatives. With their membership of democratically controlled local co-operatives, they continue to manage over 4,300 homes across Ireland.
Due to the rapid growth of Co-operative Housing Ireland, CHI are seeking a permanent Head of Asset Management to join the Asset Management and Property Services Team.
This is a new role, so there is significant scope to develop it using your own initiative. Reporting to the Director of Asset Management and Property Services, the Head of Asset Management will have responsibility for the oversight of the department’s operational managers, and roll out new initiatives as part of the company’s Business Transformation Programme.
They will provide high-level oversight to the Director of Asset Management & Property Services and the Executive Management Team, particularly in the area of statutory compliance and financial planning and reporting; and ensure that there are appropriate procedures in place to manage, execute, report, and track all reactive, cyclical and planned (including capital works) maintenance delivered by the Asset Management & Property Services Department.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, the post holder will need to be a dynamic and adaptable individual with strong leadership skills and an ability to develop an intimate knowledge of the operation of the Regional Asset Management Teams and roll out new initiatives to improve reporting and oversight.
The ideal candidate will be a can-do person with great problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. They will be a detailed-oriented, innovative and organised leader who can manage the continued growth of CHI and establish themselves as a point of escalation for the Regional Asset Managers.
