The New Business Development Officer will work as a key member of the New Business team by assisting the New Business Managers and Delivery team in delivering Clúid’s housing development programme.

You will provide support to the wider team by taking responsibility for the management of the delivery of identified projects within the existing programme. As a result, you will be responsible for a range of delivery processes such as project administration, funding applications, internal and external approvals and liaising with Property Services for all projects.

The role requires significant travel as you will provide support for development activity primarily based in, but not limited to the Munster Area. You will visit schemes during construction, close to completion and again on the closing date as well at other times as needed.

You will participate in all necessary New Business team meetings and activities. We envisage that this role will operate from our Cork Office however travel to the National Office in Dublin or other regional offices will be required on occasion.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

• Minimum of Degree required in related area
• Project Management training/qualification – Essential
• Desired Experience in working as part of a multi skilled team

Essential Knowledge / Skills:

• Specialist role related knowledge in property acquisition or property development processes
• Communication skills  – verbal and written, report writing, presentation skills -Essential
• Stakeholder management skills and experience – Essential
• I.T skills to intermediate level – Essential
• MS project experience – Essential
• Project feasibility assessment – Desirable
• Problem solving -Essential

Essential Experience:

• Property Acquisition/Property development experience -Essential
• 2+ Years’ experience in a similar role – Essential
