Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are essentially a medium sized, director led firm of professional quantity surveyors, project managers and cost consultants with a passionate and relentless focus on our Clients’ requirements.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to provide a meaningful role in the delivery of QS services on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects. The successful candidate will be required to provide a leading role in the delivery of our high quality professional quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy services including taking the position of ‘Project QS’ on both public and private sector projects. A high level of attention to detail, organisational skills with the ability to make (incl. aiding the team to make) tight deadlines, good inter-personal / communication skills and relevant I.T. skills will be required.

The successful candidate will need to be an active team player with the confidence to represent MLQ in a professional and friendly manner. [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It would be preferred if Candidates have:
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying
- SCSI RICS Chartered
- Relevant work experience (preferably 5+ years in PQS practice)
- Experience of delivering construction projects under the Public Works Contract
- Registered or eligible to be registered under the provisions of the Building Control Act 2007
- Working knowledge of Buildsoft Cubit and/or Cost X
- Full clean driving licence
