We are currently recruiting for a Sustainability & CSR Support Officer with a keen interest in supporting professionals and businesses involved in property, land and construction to improve their environmental and social approach.

The Opportunity

Reports to: Events & Partnership Manager
Term: Full Time & Permanent
Hours: Normal hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 9 am till 5.30 pm. Flexible working policy available after probation period.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of the SCSI’s Sustainability & CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) annual work programmes, such as Sustainable Development in the Surveying Profession.
- Coordinate and assist SCSI staff in the implementation of the work programme through collaborative engagement and training to promote best practices within our membership.
- Champion internal and externally the work of the SCSI in this area and build partnerships.
- Monitor changes impacting members and support the development of guidance documents.
- Draft policies and guidelines related to sustainability programs affecting the environment, health, and safety of the organisation.
- Support communications to members on the impact on real estate and built environment from ESG’s (Environmental Social Governance) agenda
- Identify services through our membership benefits, education, and events departments.
- Provide administrative support to committees and working groups.
- Liaison and first-point of contact for members as they apply best practice in the profession.
- Management of member data including CRM, survey design and analysis etc.
- Oversee the SCSI adherence to sustainable practice in its operations.
- Other ad hoc duties, as assigned.

Key Competencies
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Required
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
- Interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communications skills
- Good self-management and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel, etc)
Desirable
- Knowledge or experience in sustainability, CSR or ‘ESG’ projects
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Experience in the construction, land, and property sectors
