The Office of Public Works manages much of central Government’s property portfolio, providing accommodation to central Government Departments, An Garda Síochána and other State agencies. It is also the lead agency for Flood Risk Management in Ireland, providing Flood Relief schemes throughout the country. The post of Valuer Grade III is based in the Property Advisory Services section in Dublin and Trim, which provides a range of advisory, valuation and agency services for the management of the property portfolio and the flood relief programme

Candidates must have a qualification at minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications or NARIC Ireland Foreign Qualifications equivalent in Property Economics, Property Valuation and Management or Property Studies accredited by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland or equivalent and practical competence in the inspection, measurement and valuation of properties.
