SCSI & RICS Subscriptions

There is a long standing agreement between SCSI and RICS, which obliges Fellows and Professional members of SCSI to also be members of RICS, as it is RICS which confers the Charter designation.

The annual RICS subscription is reduced by 50% of its standard rate to reflect dual membership status.

Chartered Surveyors, practicing in Ireland, choosing to join RICS solely, are required to pay RICS the full subscription rate and are not entitled to any of the member benefits provided by the SCSI, including free CPD, member practice & legal updates, engagement with professional groups, local member events or local regulation including disciplinary issues, which would have to be referred to RICS Regulatory Board for determination.

Associate members (not registered on the RICS Registered Valuers Scheme) are not required to hold dual membership of SCSI / RICS.

Making a payment
Membership subscriptions are due and owing as of 1st January of each year and must be paid within three calendar months, i.e. no later than 31st March 2021.

Payment can be made in the following ways:

• Online – You can make payment through Realex, a secure online payment method. Please go to “My SCSI Account” click on “my payments”.
• By EFT (Quote Membership number) to Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland at Bank of Ireland, Baggot Street Branch
