Effectively handling subject access requests

Join us on the 15th November for a CPD on Effective handling of subject access requests. According to the 2022 Annual report of the Data Protection Commission (DPC), access requests are one of the most frequent topics for queries and complaints to the DPC.

This session will explore what organisations needs to consider when putting subject access request procedures in place and responding to subject access requests.

Speaker

Aisling Hennessy

Aisling holds an LLB,  an LLM in Employment Law and was admitted to the role of Solicitors in Ireland in 2005. She is currently studying for an MA in Teaching and Learning.

Aisling has worked in both private practice as a solicitor and in-house for a bank and an IT Security Company. Aisling now lectures on full-time programmes in the Carlow and Wexford campuses of the SETU.  She predominately lectures in business law related subjects and on the Certificate in Data Protection.
