We look forward to meeting members in-person and online for our International Women’s Day event. The event will start at 1pm online, if joining in person please arrive from 12:30pm to 38 Merrion Square. This years theme is #AccelerateAction and we will be joined  by Entrepreneur, Advocate and Podcaster Alison Cowzer. Alison is co-founder of East Coast Bakehouse, Ireland’s only large scale biscuit manufacturing business based in Drogheda Co Louth. Lunch is available to all in-person attendees.

Description

Join us in-person or online on Thursday 6th March for International Women’s Day.

We will begin at 1pm online, if joining in person please arrive from 12:30pm to 38 Merrion Square. This years theme is #AccelerateAction and we will be joined  by Entrepreneur, Advocate and Podcaster Alison Cowzer. Alison is co-founder of East Coast Bakehouse, Ireland’s only large scale biscuit manufacturing business based in Drogheda Co Louth.

As a Dragon investor in the RTE series Dragons’ Den, Alison has invested in a number of new Irish businesses, and is working closely with these entrepreneurs to drive growth in their new enterprises.

Alison is also Managing Director of ‘The Company of Food’, a specialist food investment business which has invested in and mentored a number of food start ups. She is currently a member of the Bord Bia Consumer Foods Board.

The event will be chaired by SCSI Board Member Lily Ellis and lunch will be available to all in-person attendees.
