Description

In December 2024 RICS published a new edition of RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book) which becomes effective on 31 January 2025.  To assist Rics registered valuer members to prepare for the roll-out of this new edition SCSI, in collaboration with the RICS Profession Support and Assurance team, is running a series of FREE online Red Book Compliance workshops for Irish members.  It is expected to last for 3.5 hours to allow sufficient time for Questions and Answers.

The workshop aims to support Rics Registered Valuers in creating an audit trail meeting the requirements of the RICS Rules of Conduct and the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book).

The workshop will cover:

  • Changes to the new edition of Red Book effective 31 January 2025
  • Examining why it is important that an audit trail is created
  • Explaining how the audit trail is created
  • Discussions and interactions on your risk mitigation as a Valuer
  • Signposting of where to get further support

The workshop will be presented by Paddy Darmody and Donna Best and will allow attendees to avail of 3.5 hours CPD. This is an in-camera event to allow interaction between the presenters of the workshop and the attendees.
