Join us online on the 20th September for a CPD on Business Ethics for Surveyors. In this CPD the presenter will discuss modern ethical theories and will use case studies to demonstrate how ethics can work in practice. He will also discuss how to overcome ethical dilemmas in business using practical examples.
Speaker
Denis Coleman has over 35 years of commercial experience, primarily within the FMCG sector but also (through consultancy) in the Healthcare, Hardware/DIY and Petrochem Sectors. His specialty is in the area of Supply Chain where he has worked, managed and consulted a ALL levels within the field of Supply Chain Management. He has managed projects that resulted in seven figure savings for the company and has recruited, trained and managed staff across all areas of the Supply Chain including Warehousing, Purchasing and Data Management functions, as well as Management Strategy and Behavioural aspects of the commercial world.
In more recent times, Denis has continued his engagement in the commercial arena through Consultancy, Lecturing and Training. He currently lectures on a variety of business programmes (ranging from QQI Level 6 to 9) for Griffith College (Dublin & Limerick) and SETU. He is a faculty member and examiner with the Institute of Leadership Management (ILM), UK. He is a member of the faculty on a new MA in NeuroCoaching programme at University of Wales Trinity Saint David and he also supervises Dissertation Students at Honours Degree and Masters Degree level for SETU, Griffith College and University of Wales Trinity Saint David. He was a senior lecturer and examiner with the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM) and a former Associate Lecturer at University of Limerick and Derby University where he also supervised Masters Students all over the world on their Dissertations. He has also guest lectured on Data Management on an Executive Masters Degree programme at the former DIT.
As part of his ongoing development he studying towards a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
