Join us on the 11th March for a CPD on Green Leases. Attendees can expect to learn what Green Leases are, why they are needed, a brief overview of the legislative framework around Green Leases and how they are implemented on a practical level.

Speakers

Áine Quigley is a Partner in our Real Estate and Built Environment team. She has broad experience advising corporate clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions to include landlord and tenant law, sales and acquisitions.

She has a deep understanding of the issues that impact her clients and advises some of the most prominent participants in the Irish real estate market on the management of extensive and high-profile portfolios of Irish assets. She is particularly skilled at providing seamless and strategic advice throughout the life cycle of investments from acquisition, financing, and development to leasing and ultimate sale.

Áine acts for lenders on the financing of commercial real estate, to include substantive portfolios of mixed-use developments and social housing developments. Áine leads the team that advises a number of State utility providers on all real estate matters including diverse and large volume transactional work.

Áine’s extensive experience, commercial insight, and legal expertise, means that she can recognise and cut through potential issues with pragmatic and commercial solutions.
Shane Caldwell is a Chartered Surveyor with 16 years experience working in the commercial real estate industry and is currently the Head of Sustainability at IPUT Real Estate Dublin. A specialist in the management of large office, retail and logistic portfolios. As part of Shane’s current role he has overseen the development and implementation of IPUT Real Estate’s Responsible Investment Strategy.

IPUT is Ireland’s leading property company and the largest owner of offices in Dublin. IPUT are a long-term investor with a 50-year track record in real estate. IPUT own and manage a portfolio comprising over 5 million sq. ft., with a net asset of value of over €2.7 billion.

Ken Noble is a commercial property professional with over 30-year’s experience in Ireland, the UK and US. He joined TWM as Head of Professional Services in 2021. Ken has worked across many property sectors including property and asset management, valuations, rent reviews and landlord and tenant and commercial agency. He has acted as an expert witness in the Commercial Court, High Court, An Bord Pleanala Planning Hearings and CPO Arbitrations regarding property valuation disputes and has also acted as an arbitrator regarding rent review and commercial service charge disputes.

He sees first-hand the growing importance ESG is playing in the property investment, valuation and asset / property management decisions of national and international funds when overseeing valuations, rent reviews and asset management and working closely with the active investment agency team in TWM.

Ken holds a BSc in Surveying from Trinity College Dublin, is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and a Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Bernadine Hogan is an accomplished Chartered Surveyor (SCSI/ MRICS) with over 20 years in the corporate property sector. She began her career at Lambert Smith Hampton in London and moved to Ireland to join Savills for 12 years. In 2014, she joined CBRE ( world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, fortune 500 company), where she leads the retail advisory and transactions in Ireland as an Executive Director with the firm. Bernadine is a lead agent on successful retail/mixed-use developments in ROI, delivering high-yielding investment returns and is also a member of the SCSI/RICS Commercial Board in Ireland, advancing industry standards.​
