The SCSI is supporting World Green Building Week from the 11th – 15th September with an online series of Sustainability focussed cpd’s. The fourth event in the series will look at Valuation and EU Taxonomy.

Speakers
Carina Galavan is a property fund expert, and part of the multi-award winning Aviva Ireland Property team, with over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services across banking, investments and insurance. Carina’s main responsibilities include managing broker relations, fund reporting and communications. Carina also works on the delivery of sustainability strategy and initiatives for the Fund.
Emer Byrne MRICS MSCSI, Chartered GP Valuation Surveyor, Lecturer – TU Dublin & member of PSRA board
Emer Byrne is a chartered valuation surveyor with a degree in science from UCD combined with surveying degree and a Masters in sustainable development from Technological University of Dublin (TU Dublin). She has over 25 years’ experience in the property industry across various sectors including development, valuations, significant infrastructure projects and asset management. Emer will be chairing this event.
Ken Noble – MRICS MSCSI, RICS Registered Valuer, Director and Head of Professional Services, TWM Property
Ken is an experienced Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years commercial property experience in valuation, rent reviews / regears and commercial property advisory. TWM is a commercial property practice with a focussed senior team of advisors providing informed and current property advice based on the synergies across the agency and professional services teams.
Lorena Dunne is a partner in A&L Goodbody’s Asset Management & Investment Funds and ESG & Sustainability Teams. She has extensive experience advising a range of leading international and domestic asset managers on all matters connected with the establishment and/or ongoing operation of investment funds (both regulated and unregulated), including property funds. Lorena has significant expertise in advising on EU Sustainable Finance regulation. She is a long-standing member of the Irish Funds ESG Policy, Legal and Regulatory Working Group and represents Irish Funds on the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) ESG Working Committee. Lorena holds a Masters of International (including Environmental and Human Rights Law) from the University of Cambridge and is highlighted by Chambers Global 2023 for her “expertise in ESG-related funds” and “knowledge of SFDR”.
