To maintain good working relationships, improve cash flow, and reduce the cost of disputes, the construction industry now seeks to determine disputes by an alternative means of private dispute resolution other than resolution by the courts. This talk will provide an awareness of the various dispute resolution methods available and why they are essential for the construction industry. It will be of interest to members in both construction and property.

Peter is Principal Consultant and founder of Conlex Consulting.
With a unique skill set in Quantity Surveying and Construction Law, Conlex Consulting specialises in contract support for the Irish and UK Construction Industry, providing solutions to commercial risk throughout the life cycle of a construction project, with the aim of avoiding costly disputes.
Peter has over 27 years of practical experience in the civil engineering and building construction industry. Employed by some of the larger and more established firms as a Commercial Manager and later as a Commercial Director.
Peter is a fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
